Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

This position is responsible for selling the company’s products, including finding, generating, and developing new distribution/retail partners to sell products to end-users. The role involves new account development and expanding existing accounts within distribution or retail channels, creating awareness and demand for products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise and a professional/technical thought leader background in the respective field. The position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field and an advanced college degree or equivalent, along with good analytical skills and evaluative judgment in complex situations. A minimum of 6 years of experience and a degree or equivalent are generally required.

Job Description

This role aims to achieve strategically aligned business objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training, education goals, targeted product launches, and engaging with sales teams to develop skills, maintain existing customer relationships, and expand the customer base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales training and development initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons through collaboration with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps, focusing on sales product training and development.
  3. Develop curriculum and course content, and execute in-field and headquarters training initiatives, including sales enablement.
  4. Prioritize and conduct key field-based training activities and medical education events for customers and sales teams.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians and key customers.
  6. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impacts.
  7. Work with Medical Education to identify training needs, develop curricula, and implement at events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in person.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred); advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Optional: 2+ years of sales management or leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
