Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

Responsible for selling the company’s products; primary responsibilities include finding, generating, and developing new distribution/retail partners to sell the company’s products to end-users. Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channels. Creates awareness and demand for company products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts.

This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise from a professional or technical thought leader in their respective field. The position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field and an advanced degree or equivalent. The role involves providing technical guidance and direction within their discipline, with good analytical skills and evaluative judgment based on complex or novel situations. The job generally requires a degree or equivalent and at least 6 years of experience.

Job Description

This position aims to meet strategic business unit objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training and education, targeted product launches, and engaging with sales teams to develop skills, maintain customer relationships, and expand the customer base. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales product training and development initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons through collaboration with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps via dedicated training programs.
  3. Develop curriculum and course content; implement in-field and headquarters training initiatives and sales enablement.
  4. Prioritize and execute key field training activities and medical education events for customers and sales teams.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians, key customers, and accounts.
  6. Partner with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impact.
  7. Collaborate with Medical Education to develop courses/trainings, curricula, and objectives for events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in-person.
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred); advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Optional: 2+ years of sales management experience or demonstrated leadership in sales goals.
  • Proficiency with office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
