Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

Responsible for selling the company’s products; primary responsibilities include finding, generating, and developing new distribution/retail partners to sell the company’s products to end-users. Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channel. Creates awareness and demand for company products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in a professional or technical field, typically involving extensive experience and an advanced degree or equivalent. The role provides technical guidance within the discipline and requires good analytical skills, evaluative judgment, and the ability to handle complex and dynamic material. Usually requires a degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Job Description

This position is responsible for achieving strategically aligned business objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training and education, targeted product launches, and engaging with sales representatives to develop skills, maintain existing customer relationships, and expand the customer base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic sales product training and development initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons working with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps through dedicated sales training.
  3. Develop curriculum and course content, and implement training initiatives and sales enablement both in the field and at headquarters.
  4. Identify, prioritize, and execute key field-based training activities and medical education events for sales force and customers.
  5. Develop professional relationships with physicians, key customers, and accounts.
  6. Partner with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impact.
  7. Collaborate with Medical Education to develop courses, curricula, and implement objectives at Med Ed events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in-person.
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred) or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated leadership in achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency with office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
