Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

This role involves selling the company's products, with a focus on finding, generating, and developing new distribution and retail partners to increase sales to end-users. Responsibilities include new account development and expanding existing accounts within distribution or retail channels, creating awareness and demand for products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise and a professional or technical thought leadership in the respective field. The position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field, an advanced degree or equivalent, and good analytical skills for complex problem-solving. A minimum of 6 years of experience is generally required.

Job Description

This position aims to achieve strategic business objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training and education, targeted product launches, and supporting sales team development. Responsibilities include maintaining and expanding customer relationships and executing detailed job functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales training initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons through sales training and collaboration with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps.
  3. Create curriculum and training content, and execute in-field and headquarters training initiatives along with sales enablement.
  4. Prioritize and execute field training activities and medical education events for sales and customers.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians, key customers, and accounts.
  6. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impacts.
  7. Partner with Medical Education to develop courses and training objectives for events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in-person.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred) or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience or demonstrated leadership in sales goals.
  • Proficiency in office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
