Job summary

The Clinical Sales Manager at Karius will lead as a field-based sales professional, driving adoption of our infectious disease diagnostics within hospitals and health systems. You will build deep relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and C-level leaders, and partner with inside sales, medical affairs, and marketing to hit regional goals.

Travel up to 70% and the ability to articulate ROI and clinical value of the Karius test will be essential as you secure contracts,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus.
5+ years of sales/business development in Life Sciences/Biotech/Medical Device/Diagnostics/Pharma.
Robust network in hospitals and health systems across microbiology labs, physician groups and executives.
Proven ability to drive adoption of new diagnostic products.

Responsibilities

Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by acquiring new hospital accounts and expanding existing ones.
Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to hit regional goals.
Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approaches.
Present product features to stakeholders and close deals with ROI justification.
Manage renewals and contracts, and provide market feedback to leadership.
