Job summary

Karius is expanding its commercialization efforts in the U.S. with a Clinical Sales Manager responsible for driving sales in Seattle, Hawaii, and Alaska, engaging infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and hospital executives.

The role requires building deep partnerships, negotiating contracts, and guiding customers through evaluations of the Karius test. The position reports to the Regional Sales Director and involves up to 70% travel, with a strong emphasis on strategic territory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
• 5 years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech / Medical Device / Diagnostic Equipment / Pharmaceuticals.
• Valid driver's license.
• Robust network of hospital and health system relationships including microbiology labs, physicians, executives.
• Proven ability to grow territory and meet/exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to achieve territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approach.
• Secure contracts and manage renewals with partner accounts.
• Partner with Medical Affairs and Marketing to provide market feedback.
