Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Greater Atlanta area and surrounding health systems. You will engage infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and C‑level leaders to drive adoption of the Karius test and related solutions.

Travel up to 70% is required, with collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to establish a world‑class commercial organization focused on rapid, impactful diagnostics in infectious diseases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
• 5 years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences/Biotech/Medical Device/Diagnostics/Pharma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven success introducing transformational products to physicians and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Grow territory by acquiring new hospital customers and expanding within existing hospitals.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to meet territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approaches.
• Build and nurture a regional hospital and health system portfolio.
• Present product features to stakeholders and manage ROI discussions with partners.
• Coordinate with Clinical/Medical Affairs and Sales teams to support partner interactions.
