Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I for the Clinical Trials Institute (CTI) to join a multidisciplinary team. Entry-level or experienced candidates will contribute to screening, recruitment, and retention of participants, with opportunities to train and mentor newer staff.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Ability to travel between multiple work sites with reliable transportation.
• Current ACRP or SoCRA certification or ability to become certified within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality and process improvement within CTI.
• Reconcile research billing and invoices with CTI financial specialists.
• Develop clinical research documents and training materials.
• May assist with training staff.
• Recruit, screen, enroll trial participants under supervision, and collect data.
• Serve as initial contact for participants and staff regarding procedures.
• Schedule logistics and secure resources for trials.
• Manage supply and equipment inventory; ensure data/sample processing per protocols.
• Perform quality checks.
