Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, part of MedStar Health, seeks a Physical Therapy Clinician to join our team. You will perform direct PT evaluations and treatments, set functional goals, and document care in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families.

The role supports ongoing education with weekly in-services, mentorship, an expansive career ladder, and a schedule that supports diverse patient populations and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• DC license or qualified candidate for DC license.
• Reciprocity license or sit for board examination.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge planning per standards of practice.
• Utilizes documentation forms and collaborates with physicians, patients, family, and health-care team.
• Supervises PTAs and rehabilitation technicians; coordinates and prioritizes schedule.
• Participates in program development and at least 10 contact hours of continuing education annually.
• Adheres to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations for environment and patient care.
