Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Clinician to join our team. You will conduct PT evaluations and treatments, set goals, and provide patient and family education in alignment with standards of practice.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, coordinating schedules, and contributing to program development and ongoing staff education within a dynamic team at the DC metro area facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• DC license or eligible for DC license as a Physical Therapist.
• DC license reciprocity or apply to sit for the board examination.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations, with patient education and progression of treatment.
• Documents using standard forms and collaborates with the health care team.
• Supervises PTAs and rehabilitation technicians and coordinates scheduling.
• Participates in program development and continuing education for staff.
