Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Clinician to join the team. The clinician will participate in evaluation and treatment of patients using current PT principles, aligned with MedStar Georgetown’s policies and standards.

Highlights include mentorship, weekly in-services, diverse patient populations, one-on-one visits, paid documentation time, and a flexible schedule within a large health system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• Physical Therapist license in DC or eligible for DC reciprocal license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge recommendations.
• Provide direct PT treatments per practice standards with patient/family education and progression of treatment.
• Supervise PTAs and rehab technicians; coordinate scheduling and patient care needs.
• Participate in program development and continuing education; deliver at least one in-service annually.
• Adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations.
