MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Clinician to join our team. You will perform direct PT evaluations and treatments, set functional goals, and assist with discharge planning in alignment with standards of practice.

You will document according to PM&R standards, collaborate with physicians, patients and families, supervise PTAs, and participate in program development and continuing education to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge planning.
• Documents per PM&R standards and collaborates with the health care team.
• Supervises PTAs and rehab technicians and coordinates scheduling.
• Participates in program development and continuing education activities.
• Ensures compliance with Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations.
