Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team. You will perform PT evaluations, provide treatments, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning within standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• 1-2 years related clinical practice experience in acute care or rehabilitation.
• APTA - Physical Therapy Current D.C license or qualified candidate for DC license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations with functional goals and discharge planning.
• Documents using standard PM&R forms and coordinates with physicians and care teams.
• Prioritizes and manages own schedule based on patient treatment needs.
• Maintains department equipment and supplies.
• Keeps CEUs current to meet state regulatory requirements.
