Job summary

Health Connect America in Alabama is seeking a Clinical Program Coordinator to support the clinical and operational success of the program, mentoring staff, promoting best practices, and ensuring quality service delivery.

You will collaborate with program directors, clinicians, and community partners; duties include treatment planning, care coordination, regulatory readiness, and occasional supervision for clinicians pursuing licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Licensure or license eligibility as required by applicable state regulations (such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience providing clinical behavioral health services, preferably in community-based or outpatient settings.
• Leadership, supervisory, program coordination, or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation, regulatory requirements, quality assurance processes, and clinical best practices.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance, if required for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members while modeling best practices in service delivery, documentation, and professional conduct.
• Support treatment planning, care coordination, and clinical compliance activities by reviewing documentation and participating in treatment team meetings.
• Assist with program operations including admissions, service authorizations, scheduling, staff training, referral management, customer relations, and documentation compliance.
• Partner with leadership on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, staff development, strategic planning, and program growth initiatives.
• Support regulatory readiness through chart audits, quality reviews, accreditation activities, and compliance with organizational, payer, and state requirements.
• Provide direct clinical services when needed and, when applicable, offer licensure supervision and support to clinicians pursuing professional licensure.
