Job summary

BayCare Health System in Bartow, Florida is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join Bartow Regional Medical Center. This full-time, exempt role features an overnight schedule with every-other weekend.

The pharmacist will partner with care teams to optimize medication therapy and ensure high-quality patient care. The position requires Florida Pharmacist licensure; ASHP PGY1 residency is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required and PharmD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Pharmacist licensure – Florida required.
• ASHP PGY1 Residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, identify and resolve drug-related problems to ensure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist Position Details

• Facility: Bartow Regional Medical Center
• Location: Bartow, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Overnights
• Weekend Work: Every other
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications And Licensure

• Required : Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred : Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements

• Required : Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred : PharmD, Acute Care Experience
