Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - ED Overnights at St. Joseph's Hospital South. The role supports the hospital and pharmacy by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety.

Requirements include Florida pharmacist licensure, a Bachelor's degree (PharmD preferred) and ASHP‑accredited PGY1 residency preferred. The shift is 7pm-7am, 7 days on/off, with every-other weekend; full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; PharmD preferred.
• ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Florida pharmacist license required.

Clinical Pharmacist Position Details

• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital South
• Location: Riverview, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: 7pm-7am | 7-day on/7-day off
• Weekend Work: Every other
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications And Licensure

• Required : Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred : Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

• Preferred : PharmD, Acute Care Experience
