Job summary

BayCare Health System in Plant City, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a PRN position to ensure patient safety and optimize drug therapy within the hospital setting.

The pharmacist will work with the pharmacy team to prevent and resolve drug-related problems while supporting service excellence and cost containment in a busy community hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PharmD preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital and pharmacy department mission by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to ensure patient safety, improve satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist position details:

• Facility: South Florida Baptist Hospital
• Location: Plant City, FL
• Status: PRN - As needed
• Shift: Variable
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist - State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: PharmD, Acute Care Experience
