Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for ED Overnights at St. Joseph's Hospital South in Riverview, FL. This full-time, exempt role requires a Florida Pharmacist License and may include ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency completion.

Shifts run 7pm–7am with a 7-on/7-off cycle and every other weekend. Responsibilities include preventing and resolving drug-related problems to ensure patient safety and satisfaction while supporting the department’s mission.

Qualifications

• Florida Pharmacist license required.
• Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Licensure to practice as a pharmacist in Florida is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital pharmacy by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety and improve satisfaction.

Clinical Pharmacist position details:

• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital South
• Location: Riverview, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: 7pm-7am | 7-day on/7-day off
• Weekend Work: Every other
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: PharmD, Acute Care Experience
