Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for Winter Haven Hospital's Emergency Department. This full-time overnight position offers 7 on/7 off shifts with every-other weekend.

The role focuses on preventing and resolving drug-related issues, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care, while collaborating with the medical team. Applicants must have a Florida pharmacist license (PharmD preferred); ASHP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Florida pharmacist license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Experience in clinical pharmacology and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital pharmacy mission by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety.
• Improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs through optimized medication therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for evidence-based pharmacotherapy.

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist - State of FL


• Preferred: ASHP (Pharmacist)

Requirements
