Job summary

Essentia Health seeks a licensed pharmacist for the Superior Clinic pharmacy. The role covers dispensing, drug therapy optimization, immunizations, and involvement in clinical initiatives. You will train staff and supervise technicians while supporting daily operations, audits, and patient care.

The position includes inventory control, cash handling and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure quality outcomes. A 0.9 FTE schedule with Day/Eve rotation is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required).
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the state Board of Pharmacy (Wisconsin or eligible for Wisconsin licensure).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one week of hire.
• Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives and daily pharmacy operations, including training staff and supervising technicians.
• Manage billing, record keeping, audits, inventory control and cash handling.
• Assist in equipment/supply care and support department leadership.
