Job summary

Essentia Health Brainerd Clinic seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services. You will interpret and dispense medications, monitor drug therapy, and support immunization programs while collaborating with physicians and staff.

The role requires Minnesota/Wisconsin licensure, BLS within one week of hire, and Immunization Delivery Certification at hire. Day/evening shifts with no holiday obligation and a strong focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin; internship licensure in current state and active licensure within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification within one week of hire; Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and access to medications and immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives; train new staff and supervise technicians and interns.
• Handle billing, records, audits, inventory control and cash handling as part of daily pharmacy duties.
