Job summary

Essentia Health Brainerd Clinic is seeking a Pharmacist to interpret, dispense and monitor medications, optimizing drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and access to immunizations.

Requirements include a BS or PharmD from ACPE-accredited education, Minnesota/Wisconsin licensure (or pursuing licensure within 90 days), BLS within 1 week of hire, and Immunization Delivery Certification. Remote/Hybrid option may be available.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensure as a Pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin; active licensure within 90 days if not yet licensed.
• BLS certification within one week of hire; Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and support immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives and daily pharmacy department activities.
• Train new staff and supervise technicians and interns; manage inventories and billing.
