Job summary
Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a licensed pharmacist to perform interpretation, dispensing and monitoring of medications, optimize drug therapy and provide immunizations. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, training of staff and students, and supervision of technicians while ensuring accurate records, inventories and cash handling.
This 0.9 FTE position offers Day/Eve rotation with no weekends, a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
- BLS certification within one week of hire.
- Immunization delivery certification required at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
- Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide immunizations.
- Participate in daily pharmacy operations, staff training, and supervision of technicians.
- Handle billing, records, audits, and keep accurate inventories and cash handling.
- Care for supplies and equipment, and support department leadership as assigned.
