Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd Clinic seeks a pharmacist to interpret, dispense and monitor medications, and to optimize therapy for improved patient outcomes. You will support immunizations, participate in clinical initiatives, and supervise staff while ensuring accurate billing and records.

The role requires a BS or PharmD, Minnesota or Wisconsin pharmacist licensure (or licensure within 90 days if transferring), and BLS plus Immunization Delivery Certification within hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required).
• Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin; active pursuit of licensure if currently licensed in another state; licensure within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation, dispensing and monitoring of medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services to patients and providers.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide access to medications and immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives, training of staff and students, supervise technicians and interns, and handle audits, billing and record keeping.
