Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required).
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy in Wisconsin or Minnesota; must obtain licensure in Wisconsin as a Pharmacist-Intern and licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one week of hire.
• Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services to patients, physicians and health care professionals.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide access to medications and immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives and assist in daily pharmacy department activities, including training of staff and students, supervision of technicians and interns, resolving customer service issues, billing and record keeping.
• Perform monthly audits, inventory control, care of supplies and equipment, and accurate cash handling.
• Support the department leader with other duties as assigned.
