Job summary

Essentia Health Superior Belknap Pharmacy seeks a pharmacist to interpret, dispense, and monitor medications, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services for patients and providers. Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required)
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin; active licensure or progress toward licensure within 90 days of hire
• BLS certification within one week of hire
• Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense, and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide access to medications and immunizations
• Participate in clinical initiatives, training of staff, supervision of technicians and interns
• Handle billing, record keeping, audits, and other pharmacy operations
• Manage inventory, equipment care, and cash handling as assigned by leadership
