Job summary

AnewHealth, a national pharmacy care management company, seeks a Pharmacist to oversee pharmacotherapy outcomes and ensure safe, accurate dispensing across its network of sites. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, manage MRPs, and maintain high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in pharmacy operations, ACPE-accredited education, active licensure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
• Current active license in good standing with state board.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging.
• Experience or interest in clinical pharmacogenomics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients and providers to address medication related problems (MRPs).
• Explain care plan options, use, side effects, and contraindications of medications.
• Document patient care decisions and billing using the proprietary system.
• Ensure accurate, efficient medication distribution and fulfillment.
• Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for compounding, packaging, labeling.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians for reconciliation, orders, inventory, and labeling.
• Provide timely review and approval for prescriptions and dispensing.
• Advise care providers to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and internal policies.
• Uphold AnewHealth Core Values in all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
