Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy program or foreign equivalent.
• Current, active license in good standing where practice occurs.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging; geriatrics exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare teams to address MRPs and questions.
• Explain care plan options and medication use, side effects, and contraindications.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care decisions and billing in proprietary software.
• Oversee technicians to ensure proper reconciliation, order entry, inventory, and labeling.
• Review and approve prescriptions ensuring correct dosing, directions, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with state/federal laws and internal policies; uphold HIPAA and safety standards.
