Job summary

AnewHealth is a leading pharmacy care management company seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support pharmacotherapy outcomes for patients remotely. You will collaborate with care teams and utilize proprietary software to ensure safe, effective medication use.

The role requires a PharmD or BS with active license, 2+ years in pharmacy distribution, and interest in pharmacogenomics. NJ license within 6 months and possible weekend/on-call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacy license in state of residence and NJ license within 6 months.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging.
• Experience with geriatrics or chronic care management.
• Interest in pharmacogenomics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for patients, families, and providers to address MRPs and pharmacotherapy questions.
• Explain care plan options and medication use, side effects, and contraindications.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care decisions and billing in the proprietary system.
• Oversee technicians to ensure medication reconciliation, order entry, inventory, and labeling.
• Review and approve prescription orders and ensure correct drug, dosage, and directions.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws, HIPAA, and fraud, waste, and abuse policies.
