Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a licensed pharmacist in New Jersey to oversee pharmacotherapy outcomes and ensure accurate dispensing and patient education. The role emphasizes compliance, patient safety, and collaboration with care teams, with responsibilities spanning medication reconciliation, billing, and regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pharmacy distribution/packaging, geriatrics experience, and an interest in pharmacogenomics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a pharmacy program accredited by ACPE; licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the pharmacotherapy lead for patients, addressing MRPs and pharmacotherapy questions.
• Explain care plans, medication use, side effects, and contraindications to patients and families.
• Oversee technicians for medication reconciliation, order entry, inventory, labeling, and compliance.
• Ensure accurate dispensing, billing, and record keeping; document care decisions in the system.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.
