Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacist for a remote role to manage pharmacotherapy outcomes and ensure safe medication dispensing. The position supports patients and healthcare providers using proprietary software and requires ongoing documentation and compliance.

Qualified candidates will hold an active pharmacy license and have 2+ years in pharmacy distribution; experience with geriatrics and pharmacogenomics is valued. Weekend/on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in state of residence.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging.
• Exposure to geriatrics and/or chronic care management preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical pharmacogenomics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and care providers regarding medications.
• Explain care plan options, uses, side effects and contraindications.
• Ensure proper documentation of care decisions, coding and billing.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians for medication reconciliation and labeling.
• Review and approve prescription orders with accurate dosing and directions.
