Job summary

BayCare in Dunedin, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role focuses on preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to improve patient safety and satisfaction while supporting cost containment.

The position is full-time, exempt, with variable 8-12 hour shifts, weekend work every other, and requires Florida Pharmacist license and a BS degree; ASHP PGY1 preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PGY1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems to assure patient safety.
• Improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs as part of the pharmacy team.
• Support the hospital mission and pharmacy department with clinical excellence.

• Location: Dunedin, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable / 8-12hr shifts

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
