BayCare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide high-level pharmaceutical care at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. This PRN (as needed) role includes variable shifts with occasional weekend work and no on-call requirements.

The pharmacist will prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems to ensure patient safety, enhance satisfaction, and reduce costs, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in the state of Florida is required.
• ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Acute Care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support hospital pharmacy operations by identifying and resolving drug-related problems to improve patient safety and satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL

• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree

• Preferred: PharmD, Acute Care Experience
