Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, Florida invites applications for a Clinical Pharmacist at Morton Plant Hospital. This full-time exempt position involves variable shifts, with weekends every third, and no on-call duties.

The role emphasizes patient safety, drug-related problem resolution, and exceptional customer service to the community. Required licensure as a Florida Pharmacist and a Bachelor's Degree; PharmD and/or ASHP-accredited PGY1 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: Pharmacist licensed in the state of Florida.
• Required bachelor's degree; PharmD strongly preferred.
• Preferred: ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist Clinical Responsibilities:

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist - State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
