Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a healthcare setting, preferably within an FQHC, community health center, or ambulatory care.
• Valid medical assistant certificate from an accredited program, required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required on hire.
• Progressive leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with value-based care models and population health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision and accountability for clinical support staff.
• Oversees recruitment in partnership with Human Resources and workforce planning.
• Drives onboarding, coaching, and professional development for staff.
• Ensures compliance with HRSA, OSHA, CLIA, and infection control standards.
• Monitors quality metrics, patient flow, and care team performance.
• Leads regular team huddles and conducts annual performance reviews.
