Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS) to lead clinical support staff and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The role focuses on staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and staff development within a dynamic, team-based care model.

You will supervise Medical Assistants and support staff, drive performance metrics, and coordinate with HR to maintain a skilled workforce while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within an FQHC, community health center, or ambulatory care environment.
• Medical Assistant certificate required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision for Medical Assistants, Lab Assistants, and other clinical staff.
• Owns recruitment efforts in partnership with Human Resources.
• Builds a high-performing, mission-driven team through onboarding and development.
• Promotes engagement, equity, and inclusion aligned with VIA values.
• Leads team huddles, performance reviews, and staff communications.
• Oversees daily clinical operations, patient flow, and provider support.
• Monitors quality metrics and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drives workflow improvements using data and Lean methodologies.
