Responsibilities include performance management, workflow optimization, finance collaboration, and technology-enabled reporting. This role advances standards of care and patient satisfaction within a diverse academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of administrative and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communications abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of physician practice management and healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily operations of the department's clinical practices and staff.
• Oversees Supervisors/Managers across multiple locations and handles performance appraisals.
• Monitors workflow and productivity; optimizes staffing and patient flow.
• Collaborates with Finance on billing, collections and net revenue improvement.
• Collaborates with ITS to administer technology and reporting for regulatory purposes.
• Formulates short- and long-term fiscal and operational goals; manages capital projects.
• Ensures standards of care per regulatory guidelines and drives patient satisfaction.
• Participates in Faculty Practice Patient Care Committee and develops care strategies.
• Represents the department on internal/external committees when CAO is absent.
