Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its oncology-focused pharmacy team, delivering direct patient care and MTM within hematology/oncology services.

You will collaborate with inpatient/outpatient teams, oversee chemotherapy preparation, and participate in trial support, with emphasis on safety, dosing, and clinical screening. The role also includes supervision of technicians and contributing to policy development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with IDFPR certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Clinical work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care to improve prescribing, administration and monitoring.
• Provide MTM services and patient education per applicable acts.
• Determine optimal dosing based on age, weight and organ function.
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and inpatient pharmacy teams.
• Prepare investigational and standard chemotherapy for trials.
• Assist transitions of care and staff education in oncology.
• Develop and implement oncology policies and safety initiatives.
