• Ability to maintain quality control and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing on blood and specimens.
• Calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments.
• Prepares reagents and media per procedures.
• Documents QC procedures and implements corrective actions.
• Supervises students and new staff as needed.
• Participates in quality improvement and continuing education.
• Reports results accurately in writing and verbally.
