GBMC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic tests on blood and other specimens, ensuring accurate processing and reporting results. You will calibrate and maintain instruments, conduct quality control, and support ongoing education within a collaborative laboratory team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with 2+ years clinical lab experience.
• Two additional years of related clinical laboratory experience if BS is in a related science.
• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with four years related clinical lab experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic testing on blood and other specimens (waived to highly complex).
• Calibrates, performs quality checks, maintains clinical lab instruments and equipment.
• Prepares reagents or media as required by procedures.
• Documents quality control procedures and investigates corrective actions.
• Mentors students and junior staff as needed.
• Participates in quality improvement and laboratory continuing education.
