Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with two years clinical lab experience.
• AS in Medical Laboratory Technology with four years related clinical lab experience.
• New graduates may be considered depending on education level.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing on blood and specimens and reports results.
• Calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments; resolves basic malfunctions.
• Prepares reagents/media per procedures.
• Conducts quality control and corrective actions.
• Orients and supervises students and new staff.
• Monitors quality improvement indicators.
• Develops new programs as part of a multi-functional team.
• Participates in continuing education and shares knowledge.
