GBMC HealthCare is seeking a clinical laboratory professional to perform diagnostic analyses on blood and specimens. The role requires ensuring accuracy, calibrating instruments, and conducting quality control.

The incumbent will train students and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Eligible candidates hold a BS in Medical Technology or related science with laboratory experience; ASCP certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science with lab experience.
• BS in applicable science with 2+ years in clinical lab work.
• AA in Medical Laboratory Technology with 4 years related experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic tests on blood and other specimens.
• Ensure accurate processing and reporting of results.
• Calibrate, run quality controls and maintain instruments.
• Prepare reagents/media according to procedures.
• Document quality control results and take corrective action.
• Orient and supervise students and junior staff as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and education.
