Job summary

Indian Health Service seeks a Medical Technician (Laboratory Support) to perform a range of clinical tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology, serology, and blood banking. You will evaluate results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate laboratory outcomes.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining instruments, preparing reagents and media, and supporting quality control and compliance with CAP/CLIA standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of general experience.
• Six (6) months of specialized experience performing technical medical laboratory support work.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology, serology, and blood banking.
• Evaluate test results, troubleshoot, and repeat procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain laboratory instruments and equipment; prepare reagents and culture media; monitor quality control.
