Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months general experience showing ability to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, immunology, and blood banking.
• Evaluate test results and troubleshoot to ensure accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment; prepare reagents and culture media; monitor quality control.

Education

Associate degree in clinical laboratory sciences or certified laboratory assistant program

One year of study with chemistry/biological sciences plus training in clinical laboratory

Bachelor's degree with related major or 24 semester hours in related subjects
