Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of lab experience.
• Completion of an ASCP-approved Laboratory Assistant course.
• MA-P certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens: receiving, sorting, and aliquoting.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
• Provide courteous customer service to patients and staff.
• Orient and train new employees; support accreditation standards.
• Resolve specimen/order problems with documentation for review.
