Clinical software expert in medication management, order entry, clinical knowledgebase, decision support, and automation. Provides leadership on small to medium projects, coordinates testing, and participates in governance.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
2 years of clinical applications or direct Epic build/support experience.
5 years as a hospital pharmacist in a large hospital/IDN or completion of PGY2 residency.
Epic Willow certification within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical software leadership on projects within area(s) of specialization.
Collaborates with users, project leaders, and management on priorities and scope.
Keeps current with tech advances; researches and recommends new tools for efficiency.
Coordinates unit, functional, and integration testing activities.
Participates in governance and committee work with data and systems input.
Troubleshoots issues using specialization knowledge.
Develops standards and procedures to improve departmental functions.
Develops strategies to meet future information needs of LVHN.
Adheres to project management methodologies and ensures team alignment.
