Emerson Health in Concord, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator for the Pre-Surgical Testing unit. You will greet patients, assemble charts, enter orders, and provide administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth surgical preparation.

This role requires strong customer service skills, EMR proficiency, and strict confidentiality in a fast-paced hospital setting. Day shift, full-time schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital or medical setting helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in patients scheduled for surgical procedures.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Pre-Surgical Testing.
• Prepare and complete surgical charts and documentation.
• Enter physician orders and maintain patient records.
• Perform venipuncture (phlebotomy) and EKG services as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Coordinate patient flow for efficient and safe surgical prep.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Clinical Coordinator to support our Pre-Surgical Testing team. In this role, you will serve as an important point of coordination for patients arriving for surgery while providing both administrative and clinical support to the unit.

The Clinical Coordinator helps ensure that patients are welcomed, prepared, and supported throughout the pre-surgical process. This position combines patient-facing responsibilities, clinical assistance, and administrative coordination, making it a great opportunity for someone interested in expanding their experience in a hospital or surgical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients scheduled for surgical procedures
• Providing administrative and operational support to the Pre-Surgical Testing unit
• Preparing and completing surgical charts and required documentation
• Entering physician orders and maintaining accurate patient records
• Performing venipuncture (phlebotomy) and EKG services for surgical patients as needed
• Ensuring patient information is handled confidentially and in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
• Assisting with coordination of patient flow to help maintain efficient and safe surgical preparation

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Experience

• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment helpful
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred

Licensure / Certification

• None required
