Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA is seeking a Lead Clinical Operations Admin to supervise the Pre-Surgical Testing workflow, coordinate staffing, and ensure smooth daily operations. The role reports to the Nurse Practitioner Lead and Perioperative Nurse Manager and supports onboarding of new Clinical Coordinators.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, ensuring documentation accuracy, and promoting regulatory compliance and excellent patient service in a day shift, full-time capacity.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in healthcare, medical office, ambulatory care, surgical services, or hospital settings.
  • Pre-Surgical Testing experience preferred.
  • Leadership/ trainer or lead role experience preferred.

Lead Clinical Operations Admin

Schedule: Full Time


Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 / Hourly


Shift: Day shift


Hours: 5a-1:30p; 6a-2:30p;7-3:30p;8-4:30


Job Summary: Reports directly to the Nurse Practitioner Lead and Perioperative Nurse Manager. Responsible for performing all core Clinical Coordinator functions while serving as the lead resource for Clinical Coordinators within the Pre-Surgical Testing Department. Assures daily operational requirements are met, coordinates workflow and staff coverage, schedules Pre-Surgical Testing appointments, supports training and onboarding of new Clinical Coordinators, monitors the completeness of pre-operative documentation, and facilitates communication among providers, patients, surgical offices, and hospital departments. Serves as a liaison between frontline staff and departmental leadership to promote efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient service.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare, medical office, ambulatory care, surgical services, or hospital experience required.

  • Previous experience in Pre-Surgical Testing strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience serving as a trainer, preceptor, lead, resource staff member, or in an informal leadership role preferred.

  • Licensure and/or Certification: None required.
