Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare, medical office, ambulatory care, surgical services, or hospital experience required.
  • Previous Experience In Pre-Surgical Testing Strongly Preferred.
  • Licensure and/or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform core Clinical Coordinator functions and serve as lead resource for Clinical Coordinators in Pre-Surgical Testing.
  • Ensure daily operational requirements are met and coordinate workflow and staff coverage.
  • Schedule Pre-Surgical Testing appointments and support onboarding of new Coordinators.
  • Monitor completeness of pre-operative documentation and facilitate communication among providers, patients, surgical offices, and hospital departments.
  • Act as liaison between frontline staff and departmental leadership to promote efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Support training and onboarding activities for new staff.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 / Hourly

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 5a-1:30p; 6a-2:30p;7-3:30p;8-4:30

About This Role

Job Summary: Reports directly to the Nurse Practitioner Lead and Perioperative Nurse Manager. Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare, medical office, ambulatory care, surgical services, or hospital experience required.

Previous Experience In Pre-Surgical Testing Strongly Preferred.

Previous experience serving as a trainer, preceptor, lead, resource staff member, or in an informal leadership role preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification: None required.
