Savista, LLC is hiring a Coder II to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and physician billing. You will validate APC calculations and ensure compliant coding practices while protecting patient confidentiality.

The role requires active AHIMA or AAPC credentials and at least two years of hands-on coding experience, with strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, medical terminology, and MS Office. Join a team committed to CARE values and client success.

Competenze

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC, CCS-P, CPC).
• Minimum of two years of recent hands-on coding experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology; ICD-10 & CPT/HCPCS knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with all stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC/E&M code reflections.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures, and discharge disposition.
• Complete assigned work functions using appropriate resources.
• Act as a resource for data integrity and provider queries.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client/Savista meetings and trainings.
• Stay current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, regulations and third-party requirements.
• Engage in continuing education and credential maintenance.
